Yachts of the world owned by billionaires

With the several brand of yachts thronging the markets, the demand for these yachts have been increasingly high over the few years. The race of the ownership of the mega yachts is on among some of the greatest billionaires of the world.
Russian business magnet, Roman Abramovich, tops the list as he owns the world’s largest yacht , Eclips that he purchased in 2010, that has a length of 536 foot and cost $ 1 billion. This unique yacht has two helipads, disco, cinema, hair salon and a restaurant.

The next most striking yacht is possessed by Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan, the president of the United Arab Emirates. Its cost goes up to $600 million and has a length of 590 feet. It is said to have 50 private suites and had taken four years for German builders to construct it. You probably won’t see it up for charter on yachting in Scotland website any time soon!

Topaz, which is 147 meter in length and cost about $527 million comprises of a helicopter landing pad, Jacuzzi, fitness center and much more. It has been owned by Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is the Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates.

Apart from these three luxury yachts there are some other magnificent ones like A, worth $390 million owned by Andrey Melnichenko. This has a striking feature of a bed that rotates at the touch of the button allowing a perfect view of sunrise and sunset. Serene worth $330 million, Radiant worth $320 million, Pelorus and Al Said both worth $300 million are some other mega yachts with striking amenities. These yachts with their grandeur and luxuries resemble small cities on water and a treat to watch.
